Workshop on Active Imaging 2009

The second workshop on Active imaging will take place on November 24th and 25th, 2009. After the first workshop organized by DET and CEP d’Arceuil in June 2009, this second edition will be hosted by the German-French Research Institute of Saint-Louis (ISL) and will be open to our German neighbours.

Active Imaging is developing rapidly and has reached such a maturation degree that it can be used in multiple military and civil applications. This meeting will be the occasion for the principal French and German actors such as operational staff, state representatives and industrial experts to meet. There will be the opportunity to point out available technologies and techniques, commercially available systems or such being developed as well as their applications and specification methods and means.

The topics to be treated will be related especially to the optical domain. There will be a special focus on 2D and 3D active imaging, polarimetry, the use of several wave lengths, data processing (pictures, 3D, multispectrals), aspects elements and systems, la modelling and simulation as well as performance assessment.
