An important part of our research activities are done through French and German governmental contracts and industrial contracts.

The institute answers, in agreement with its binational statute, to invitations to tender to public markets either alone or with other partners be they industrial or public agencies as well as more specific requirements from industry, research laboratories or others.

A contract department is responsible for managing and preparing the contracts as well as developing contacts with different partners like French and German governmental and public agencies: BWB (Bundesamt für Wehrtechnik und Beschaffung), WTD, DGA, CNES, CNRS, European agencies like EDA, ESA, and European industry.
