2nd workshop on NQR detection of explosives and illicit substances

June 8-10, 2009

Saint-Louis, France

This is the follow-up of the workshop on NQR detection organized by the IMFM and the Jozef Stefan Institute in June 2008 at Bled, Slovenia. There were so many interesting presentations and fruitful discussions that we decided to organize a second workshop in 2009. It will take place at the French-German Research Institute of Saint-Louis (ISL).

Saint-Louis is situated close to the borders of Switzerland (Basel) and Germany and is only 5 km from the Euroairport Bâle-Mulhouse.

This 2nd workshop is intended to be a European specialists’ meeting covering the following topics:

Ø Experiments on NQR detection – direct and double resonance techniques

Ø Measurement of NQR parameters

Ø Signal processing

Ø Theory and simulation

We plan about 20 oral presentations (one by each participant), plenty of time for discussions, perhaps a few posters, a lab tour and a workshop dinner. Lunches are served in the ISL restaurant.
