This year ISL will double its presence at  SOFINS, the Special Forces Fair which will take place from April 2 to 4, 2019 at the Camp de Souge near Bordeaux.

The ISL own booth will be dedicated to ISL research on the acoustic and optical detection of UAVs and their neutralization by laser material interaction

The French Ministry of Defence will host two research topics of ISL

• VLD – Vision Longue Distance – an optronic teleoperated camera for long distance observation 
• RetiNight – a portable observation goggle for day and night and all weather observation equipped with an active imaging system for identification and an eye safe observation camera.
