For immediate placement, we are currently looking for a Researcher in the field of computer vision and related algorithms (all genders).

 

Your new tasks and responsibilities - challenging and future-oriented:

  • You carry out research work on algorithms for application in embedded visionics
  • You work on algorithms for real-time optimization and on the joint operation of two different geometric models (projective and epipolar geometry)
  • You use and evaluate a hybrid algorithm (with homography and fundamental matrix) in operative conditions
  • You work on determining the scale factor for monocular stereo vision for further application in ISL projects
  • You study methods for parallax correction in change detection through vision methods
  • You take part in supervising PhDs and internships (Master or engineer) related to future scientific topics or which give direct support to our current research topics
  • You are actively involved in technical and scientific communications related to current and upcoming research work
  • You take an active part in business travels related to scientific events or test campaigns

 

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate:

  • You have a PhD in computer vision
  • First professional experience in scientific research in the field of computer vision would be an advantage
  • You have perfect command of projective and epipolar geometry as well as of mathematical tools used for this research work (linear algebra and matrix calculation / quaternions, optimisation methods, geometrical optics etc.)
  • Good communication skills: You like to work in a team, take initiatives, are a good organizer adapting easily to new situations.
  • Very good command of English. A good command of French and/or German would be an advantage
